Chris Brown 

Music Artist / Visual Artist

Chris Brown is very talented and is from the U.S.A and is very good with whatever he does. Filming, Music Videos, Graffiti work. When it comes to Animation work he has are GFX Artist which does his animation work itsMcfly who is on Instagram.

I really like his work when it comes to adding everything that is blue. With this he has created are montage of everything from the past and present Animation work combined with him. 

The three images above is very interesting because i really like the colour pallet that he has used with the army theme and the collage of all his face which i could use when i am designing my comic strip. In my past work i have kept the actual image white and it makes it stand out which gives the viewer are chance to focus on the main image. 

I have made a response to this work from Chris Brown, where they have mixed real life and animation in this image above.So the blue one is of Tyga who also is are musician and Trey Songz in the green on the right. Chris Brown in the middle in the purple and the concept of this work is that they are Zombies. 

 this has been are good opportunity to do my experiments and i found this to be are good way to start another way of connecting with animation work. i have done a few other experiments as well 

Lukan Rai$ey 

This is are good layout of are modern comic and i really like how he has combined the images all together. I will be thinking of making my version of this in the next weeks coming. 

Advancing Practice - Artist #1

Zac Waipara

He is are New Zealand born artist and he has many skills that are related to digital work. studied graphic design at Unitec and te reo Maori and digital design at AUT. former NZ herald graphic artist. And is now are lecture in Digital Media at AUT

He works with illustration where he makes his comics and books and graphic design, animation and motion graphics with his six seasons of the kids TV show Miharo.


The reason why i like his work is because i can relate to the story's. I like that he focuses his work on New Zealand Maori Heritage and makes it his own. Till this day we continues to grow as an artist 

He found his passion in the love of comic books where he really liked the creativity of mixing words into images. He also created the design artwork for New Zealand's International Children's Book Day 2007 poster.

I like the use of colours in these images above. It brings out the nature and the how serious each part of the scenes are. So if it was black and white it would give you more ideas on how major this situation would be. but adding colour to it will give you are strong idea on what is happening.

I like the look of this image because it has that old school feel of the image and it makes it look old school. Even with the title Jackson's store makes me enjoy this illustration. I believe that using these colours it makes the image look vintage. 

I would use this to show the viewer that this scene is important only because the camera angle is low and it makes him look strong with the city view in the background.

Advance Practice - Story For Comic #1

Two Worlds

The name of the story would be called The Struggle is Real the reason why i wanted to name it that is because this generation of young teenagers put that into definition why we live a life that from there eyes is are struggle. So in saying that i wanted to show the viewer that it is not them that are living the struggle its the hard work that they are putting in that counts.

For the characters there would be an ideal of two nationalities involved. Polynesian boy and are European boy which discover themselves throughout the story. 

Location will be as it is European boy is living in the city will have the buildings of the city even the sky tower to show the viewer that he lives in the city. Polynesian boy will be local in South Auckland and will be taking Public Transport. 

For this story it is more effective on how it will end adding are twist to it will keep the momentum and keep it more exciting so for the twist i have came up with the idea of the two subjects being half brothers and it will surprise both of them when they come across each other at either are family event or at are family house.  

This story will be developed into are animation or comic style to give it an on going flow and to keep it creative.

What do they want out of it?

The End result for this story is all about the years that they have lived and not knowing that both had half brothers but they knew something was missing so is it are happy ending or is it are disaster.

Introduction

throughout these two papers i will be putting into detail on the things that i want to do the next 8 weeks even for the rest of my life, But to hold are strong foundation onto the things that are my Strengths and to build on the things that are my weaknesses. 

I am deciding whether on i want to go ahead with Animation drawings or Moving image using the camera as my Main tool in Visual Arts. Anything that is basically digital. This no doubt will be the start of something new and i do not know where i will be at the end of this 8 weeks.
